It uses publicly available pricing information as well as data from affiliated merchants and sophisticated artificial intelligence and statistical analysis algorithms to produce price estimates for almost anything - from electronics to groceries, both new and used, from large stores like BestBuy or WalMart to online marketplaces like eBay or Bonanza to grocery chains like TJ's, Whole Foods. It is a great way to evaluate how much you should expect to pay when you buy, or how much you can expect to receive when you sell.

PriceMarx strives to give you the most accurate price estimate possible. Most of the similar services have a hard time separating things like "smart phone" from "screen protector for smart phone" when you search for "smart phone". The result is a price estimate obtained by averaging the price of $500 and $5 items. Our proprietary technology uses collective intelligence of our users to learn how to distinguish such things to provide you with accurate, meaningful and useful price valuations.
