Mequano the parent company is a desktop focused software as service business that allows its customer to publish on the web large amounts of information in the form of highly structured websites called web catalogs. Mequano allows its users to store their information on cloud storage services like Dropbox or Drive and to publish directly to the web. Images and video taken on mobile phones are common types of information that are stored on the cloud and then published through Mequano web catalogs. However photos and video taken by mobile phones usually have a resolution too high for streaming through typical broadband internet connections. The Mequano app. allows the user to convert both images and video to "web ready" formats and then to upload them to either Dropbox or Mequano Storage.
