The app searches your contacts for those who have registered with BreakDown Help, and have BreakDown coverage already. In an emergency you will be able to call or text contacts to come and help. Simple!

Step 3 – Use WhatsApp or other social media to encourage your friends / family to download this App.

I already have breakdown cover, what is in it for me? (other than a great app that reminds me when my cover expires)?

Once you have this app, the service is free, but if they ( The AA, RAC, AAA, Green Flag or any other company) do come, it would be very gentlemanly (or ladylike!) of you to pay your rescuers expenses, and perhaps buy them a drink or a bite to eat – that is what friends are for!

However, please also remember to be honest and courteous to the patrol vehicle from the breakdown company that comes to help you. Always be honest with the breakdown company – be clear the person whose cover you are using wasn’t there at the time of the breakdown, and arrived later, but you would very much appreciate their kind help anyway. Perhaps it would also be wise to consider taking out cover with them in future!
