Page 1: Once upon a time there was a big deep well in a jungle. One fine day a fox came to the well to drink water. Now he was thinking how he could get the water from that well.
Page 2: He saw a bucket hanging in the well to fetch the water. As he tried to fetch the water with the help of that bucket, he fell into the well. Now he got worried how he could get out of the well.
Page 3: Suddenly he saw a goat coming to the well to drink water. The fox was very shrewd. He thought of a plan. The goat saw that bucket. As he moved towards the bucket to fetch the water, he saw the fox in the well.
Page 4: The fox cleverly said to the goat, “My dear friend! You could get a little water with the help of that bucket. That would not be enough to quench your thirst.”
Page 5: The fox continued, “So why don’t you jump into the well as I did and get a lot of water. The goat liked the idea and without giving it a thought he jumped into the well.”
Page 6: As soon as the goat dropped into the well, the fox jumped on his back, took his support and jumped out of the well.
Page 7: By the time the goat could understand everything, the fox came out of the well and the goat remained in the well. The fox laughed shrewdly.
Page 8: The goat was now regretting on his foolishness. The moral of the story is “Think before you do something, otherwise you may have to repent afterwards.”
