We have divided the FooDzines POS system into 2 parts: The Front End and the Back End.
The Front End is what your Guests / Patrons will interact with while the Back End will be the accessible only to the Staff / Administration.
THE FRONT END:
The Front End has a rich representation of your entire Menu along with an Order Cart that shows what the current orders are on the current Table and also allows your Guest / Patrons to print their Bills when they are done, for example, dining or having a couple drinks.
They can rate your Dishes / Menu’s when they are ready for the Bill that will help future diners and guests choose the best from among your offerings. It also lets your Guests provide you with a Feedback for your establishment which will give you detailed statistics of your overall performance and improve, if and where necessary. Plus a nifty little Share and Tip Calculator for those that prefer going Dutch.
THE BACK END:
The Back End has quite a few nifty features that take the hassle of managing a Restaurant, Café, etc and also make maintaining it easier.*2
Managing your offerings is easier and faster than before. Plus, if you are still using Printed Menu Cards, you would know, anytime you need to revise the prices of your Dishes, you have to spend some more to get the new Menus ready. Not to mention the time spent. In FooDzines, any revisions will reflect instantly. Not a few hours. Not a few minutes. Not even a few seconds. Instantly! Literally!!
Take the Inventory manager for instance. To help manage your Inventory even faster, we have integrated a Bar-code / QR Code scanner. The only time you would need to feed in an Inventory Item name would be the first ever time you scan an item’s Bar-code / QR Code.
This is also where you can keep track of all the feedback you receive. And feedback is always essential for Eateries especially, when corrective measure might be necessary. FooDzines helps you keep track of this faster and in a much easier way.
There are of course, several other features such as the Tables Manager where you can add more tables to FooDzines when required. Change the number of covers on a table.
