AP Physics Simulator: HS Lab

Physics Sandbox is a physics lab for high school and AP Physics students who want calibrated intuition, not just formulas — commit to a number before the experiment runs, then watch a real physics simulator prove you right or wrong.

Every lesson runs on an actual rigid-body physics engine, not a canned animation. You predict what will happen — how far the ball lands, how fast the block slides down the ramp, how long the pendulum swings — then hit Run and watch real gravity, friction, and collisions play out frame by frame in 3D. Verify shows your guess next to what the engine actually measured, with an honest "Off by X%" when you're wrong, so the feedback means something. This is a physics simulator built for practice, not a video lecture wrapper.

• Kinematics (8 lessons): free fall, projectile motion, horizontal launch, and reading velocity-time graphs

• Newton's laws & friction (9 lessons): force and motion on ramps, inertia, F = m·a, and rolling friction

• Energy & momentum (9 lessons): elastic and inelastic collisions, restitution, and conservation of momentum

• Simple harmonic motion & springs (7 lessons): spring oscillation, Hooke's law, and pendulum period
