Setting up the app would require the user to first save emergency contacts. The saved contacts would all be notified that the user is in distress when the user presses the Emergency button. The distress message would be sent as an SMS.
Please note - We are not responsible for GPS or network malfunctions that may result in the distress message not being sent. It is certainly advisable to call a governmental emergency helpline before using the app in dire emergencies. The app only notifies contacts saved on the app and is in no way an alternative to a governmental emergency helpline. We also do not claim responsibility for the misuse of this app.
