The solution takes the form of a digital or web application that integrates systems and optimises transactions.

The eGangaa® Shelf Scan app enables a pharmacist to scan and identify drugs using barcodes which is then communicated via Bluetooth to a POS device having the eGangaa® pharmacy app for billing.

With the eGangaa® Shelf Scan app, a pharmacist will be able to

1. Capture patient details such as name, age, gender, contact number.

2. Capture name of the doctor.

3. Scan barcodes associated with the drug and identify the drug.

4. Specify quantity for the drug which has been scanned.

5. Communicate the details of drugs scanned to a POS device having the eGangaa® pharmacy app.

For optimum use of the eGangaa® Shelf Scan app, you need to be registered as a tenant on the eGangaa® platform and make use of the eGangaa® pharmacy app.
