Faked products do not only damage the wealth of their buyers or of the inventors of the original products but in the case of faked pharmaceuticals or airplane spare parts may cause life endangering risks.

Fortunately today´s huge global population of smartphones with installed NFC technology offer a basis to fight this tide.

VeroGene™ provides a universal platform for customers as well as manufacturers to protect products from counterfeiting. It has been created by a group of companies based in Germany. When using one single platform the incremental costs of access for each additional participant are getting minimized. Also VeroGene™ is using 25% of the net app revenue created by the platform to support international aid organisations such as Médecins sans Frontières.
