Talk About Fitness is a forum for fitness enthusiasts, bodybuilders, cardio bunnies, swimmers, Crossfitters, runners, powerlifters, or people just looking to get in shape. You are welcome no matter where you are in your journey, even if you have never set foot in a gym or on a treadmill.

Talk About Fitness was founded by TV Host and Entrepreneur Dan Weecks. Dan was struck by lightning in 2010, and subsequently gained weight after being told to stop exercising because of medical issues from the strike. Two years later at his heaviest weighing in at 259 lbs, Dan decided enough was enough and started swimming, playing racquetball, and lifting weights. About a year and a half later, Dan had lost almost 70 lbs and started hosting his own TV show Talk Around Town. The first season of Talk Around Town was wildly successful and gained viewership in over 150 countries, and many of the viewers were fellow fitness enthusiasts. At the urging of fans and friends of the show, Talk About Fitness was born.
