Coversityviewer is an application for mobile devices such as smartphones and tabloids.
With this app you get an impression of where the transmitters are posisioned in the network and what the current status of each receiver is
within the Coversity repeater experiment.
After power-up the Coversityviewer you get an overview of the situation of the main server PI2NON,
the amateur UHF repeater for North and East Netherlands on 430.275 MHz.
The antennas are drawn as black circles and are located in the province of Friesland, Groningen, Drenthe, Overijssel and Gelderland.
The dark-green colored circles received a signal at the antenna's.
Through a self-designed diversity system the server chooses the best receiver (light green circle).
This "best audio" is forwarded to all stations in the network that broadcasts simultaneously.
Has a cicle a blue color then there is currently no connection to the GPS antenna.
Has a cicle a red color then there is currently no data connection to the corresponding antenna.
At black colored circles there is no receiver activity.
Has a cicle a dark-green color then the squelch open and this receiver is receiving a signal.
Has a cicle a light-green color then you listen to this receiver.
During an amateur connection you are able to listen to the audio, almost in real time.
Don't use this app during walking, cycling, driving, horseriding or flying an areoplane.
By the intresting funtion of this app, your attention from the reality can drop down,
and may occur causing accidents.
