Established in 1999, the Jaipuria Computer Club organized its first computer festival, Comfest, in 2001.
Nine schools participated in the first Comfest, held on the 28th of September 2001. The immense success of the event encouraged us to convert what began as a local one-day event to a National two-day event attracting schools and sponsors from all over the country. Since then, Comfest is being organized by the JCC, bigger and better each time.
Comfest has, in the past 14 years, made a name for itself across the continent. It is one of the largest student organized school-level events in the nation with reputed institutions from all over India participating in the festival every year. In 2012, 2013, and 2014 the participation of top institutions from Nepal and Saudi Arabia has added to the level of competition and prestige of the event.
Seth Anandram Jaipuria School is one of the premier schools in India, especially in the field of computers. We not only excel in academics but also enjoy exploring various other facets of Computing. Excellent guidance, omnipresent enthusiasm and a spirit that refuses to accept anything but an impetus, from what it receives, has enabled us to evolve over the years and make Comfest a bigger success each passing year.
This year, on our fifteenth anniversary, we at JCC try our hardest to make Comfest the best computer festival at school level, hoping to surpass all boundaries of success this year.
