Try WifiLock!

WifiLock puts your tablet's WiFi into High Preference mode, giving your wireless antenna maximum power, creating a stronger signal between the tablet and router.

WifiLock also utilizes an android feature, that disables non-used networks priority whilst scanning. This means that even if you have 1 bar of signal, if won't kick you off to connect to another network!

Finally, as a third level of protection, WifiLock creates a "lock" on your current wifi. This means that even should you disconnect from the network, it won't auto connect to anything else for 4 minutes. This means that in a temporary dead zone, you won't be kicked onto a network you don't want to connect to!

While WifiLock is enabled, if you need to switch to another network, you can manually do so by going into your WiFi settings.
