ABOUT US

For the past few years we here at Where2 found ourselves in a bit of a rut when it came to sampling Cardiff’s night life. It seemed every time we’d go for a night out we’d all agree to try somewhere new but would be stumped on where to go. Out of routine we’d head to the same old places where the bar staff were cold and the beers were warm. We knew what was on offer at our locals and could estimate how much a night out would cost, so fearing spending a small fortune we’d just end up back at the old reliables’, week in week out.

Then we started to think about all the brilliant bars and clubs around Cardiff that we were missing out on simply because we didn’t want to walk in and find that we had to sell all our earthly possessions for a pint. We began thinking ‘wouldn’t it be great if there was a website that could tell you where in town had a deal on or a happy hour’, and then we started talking to friends and colleagues and we quickly learnt that a lot of people had also become creatures of habit and stuck to what they knew. Then pub talk turned to real talk and next thing you know we’ve built a unique website to help others get the best out of this brilliant city.
