The easiest way to pronounce Spanish names is by hearing a native speaker pronounce the name properly before you attempt it on your own. Each name is pronounced slowly and with an emphasis on vowel and consonant changes. Just think how convenient it will be to have this app on your Android phone. The list of names come directly from the U.S. Census bureau and contains 636 of the most frequent Spanish surnames according to U.S. census statistics.

The App allows for filtering so you will not have to scroll through the entire list of names. For example, just type a letter and the program automatically filters the list based on the letter(s) typed. Then just tap the screen and the program downloads a sound file with the word pronounced by a native speaker. You might have to turn up the volume on your Android phone if it is turned down too low. Just go to settings-->Sound--> Volume --> Media Volume and turn up the volume setting. Have Fun!
