The temple of nine planets i.e. the Navgrah mandir is more than 600 years old building which is located in a small village of Gwalior named Khargon. This temple was taken care by the ascendants of the one who build this temple in past. And because of this temple, Khargon is the fastest growing part of Madhya Pradesh, India. This place is also famous as “Navgrah Ki nagariya” which means “Town of nine planets”. There is just one temple of this kind in India and this is one of the biggest reasons for its success. There are a number of idols of different Gods and Goddesses in this temple. The first floor consists of idols of Paanchmukhi Mahadev, GoddessSaraswati and Shri Ram Panchayatan, where idols of Laxman, Hanuman, Shaturghana and Bharat are also existent along with Lord Ram and Goddess Sita.

The innermost part of the temple contains the idols of Suryanarayana and Surya Yantra. There are some more idols of all the planets named Moon (Chandra), Mangal, Budh, Guru, Shukra, Shani, Rahu and Ketu along with their Yantras, Madals and vahans which are situated in an exclusive part of the Navgraha temple.
