An application to help prospective house builders decide on house design in terms of room sizes and room types for their house. It calculates a projected budget by stage of construction to help decision making on the size of the house to be built. The client is therefore armed with relevant costing information before placing an order for house plans to be drawn.

The user inputs room length, which is normally the outside wall , and room width, which is usually inside/partition wall. The app will work for a minimum four roomed house. The app makes cost calculations based on more than 150 different items used in building a house. For proprietary reasons a random list of some of these items is shown where a brief list of items appears on the app.
