Chris Walker is a renowned college basketball coach, entrepreneur, motivational speaker and sports broadcaster. He is the founder of AG Sports Group, which enjoys a partnership with Under Armour and Insidecoaches.com, a sports social media company. During college basketball season, he can be seen nationally as a Color Analyst for CBS Sports Network and American Sports Network. Walker's career in basketball spanned over 20 years. He was the Associate Head Coach at Vanderbilt University, Pepperdine University and Texas Tech University. Also, he was an assistant coach at Villanova University, University of Massachusetts, University of New Mexico and Loyola Marymount University, respectively. The crowning moment of his career was being appointed the Head Coach of Texas Tech University in 2012. Walker is very passionate about youth development. From 2004-2007, He founded a non-profit called Got Skillz, Inc. which focused on providing mentoring and preparation for SATACT testing. Also, he served as the Southwest Grassroots Director for Adidas America and was the head coach of the T-MAC All Stars tutoring over 20 young men to receive basketball scholarships at universities such as Notre Dame, Marquette, Vanderbilt, Baylor, Texas, Cincinnati, Texas A&M and New Mexico.
A proud Villanova graduate, Walker started 96 games at point guard for the Wildcats and coach Rollie Massimino from 1988-1992. He lead Villanova in assists and steals for three consecutive seasons and was named twice to the Philadelphia All -Big 5 First Team. Villanova received four postseason bids during his collegiate career.
