How it works:
Caller selects a phone number to dial, along with an urgency level (Casual, Mildly Urgent, or Very Urgent). The caller can also type in a short message describing what the call is about. The receiver receives the phone call with a display of the urgency and the short message, while the call rings. Both caller and receiver of the call must have the app downloaded on their phones. This app is currently only compatible with android.
Works on Android versions 2.0 and above. Tested on Droid Bionic 2.3, Droid Bionic 4.0, Samsung Galaxy s3 4.1, Samsung Galaxy s4 4.2.2, Samsung Stratosphere 2 4.1, Nexus 4. If it doesn't work on your device, send an email to l.steiner55 at gmail dot com with your device name, android version, and carrier. Not tested on non-US carriers.
Does not work for tracfone, netone, and LG L55C.
This app does not take away your phone's ability to send and receive normal phone calls (without the app).
It uses SMS permissions. SMS messages starting with Callurgency get read. It does not read any other SMS messages. For sms code review, email l.steiner55 at gmail dot com, subject header: code request.
It uses contact permissions to select from existing contacts when making a phone call.
It uses system permissions to alter the incoming call screen.
