Calcutta Pinjrapole society was established in the year 1885.

Calcutta Pinjrapole society was established in the year 1885 by the eminent persons of society from Kolkata for the shelter of motherly Cows.We have seven Branches situated at Sodepur, Liluah, Kanchrapara(Kalyani), Chakulia, Ranigunj , Hajaribag and Kamdhenu(Sodepur). All Branches have own strong team to look after day to day matter with active support from Head Office team at Kolkata. A goshala is a protective shelter for cattle in India. Cows are considered sacred in the Hindu religion and so goshalas are a refuge for them. In a goshala, cattle are respected, venerated and treated with dignity.
