The 5 Questions App helps you to practice the coaching routines of the Improvement KATA (also called Toyota KATA).
You'll always have the 5 Coaching KATA Questions handy on your Android Phone or iPhone.
The Coaching KATA gives managers and executives a standardized approach to facilitating skill development in daily work, in line with the pattern of the Improvement KATA.
Using the five Questions App:
Keep the app handy at all times. Coaching & being coached is easier with the 5 Questions.
This app is your script for conducting a coaching cycle and will help you make this pattern a habit.
During each coaching cycle, the coach asks the questions in the app. You can, of course, ask additional clarifying questions. The coach thus demonstrates to those being coached a scientific way of thinking in support of the day-to-day CIP process.
Development and support is handled directly by CETPM.
