As your village grows you will need to expand. Try to get expansions that have decorations, so you can use them in your town. Big decorations like “Scrat in Ice” or a “Fire King Scrat,” will give your families a great bonus!
If you don’t have enough coins or acorns to get an expansion, but you’re still out of space, you can put away the families/fun stuff that give you the least coins and replace them with better ones. This will help you get more coins to expand. You can always replace the items later. They’re stored in your Inventory in “Collections.”
Speaking of decorations, placing them throughout your village will make your village look awesome, and also give your animal families & buildings a coin bonus. Try to place your best decorations (we recommend the Carnivorous Flower) near the families that cash out the most. You’ll be racking in coins in no time!
Ice Age Village is a city building game for the iPhone based on the super popular hit Ice Age movie series, and the tv shows which followed it. Your objective is to build a city for the animals who are escaping the continental drift, and you have quests that are given to you by Sid, Manny, Diego, and other characters from the film. You get to build “houses” for the animals, decorations which increase your bonuses, fun mini games that you can play for bonuses, and more. Read on for tips and tricks for Ice Age Village.
The tried and true iPhone time cheat works here. When you are waiting for something to happen, but you don’t want to wait hours and hours, you can simply go to your iPhone settings, set the time ahead a few hours (or however much time you need for a task to complete), and then go back to the game and complete it. This works for everything in the game, including waiting for more turns at Kung Fu Scrat. It works in reverse though, so if you do this trick, then set the iPhone time back to normal after collecting coins or playing Kung Fu Scrat, you’ll get extra time added to your waiting time.
When you are expanding the village, expand to areas that have formations there, such as frozen objects. These objects are very lucrative decorations, and are free after you expand to the area that contains them. Once you have that expansion, move the object over near the buildings that you want to benefit from the bonuses associated with the decorations.
To make some extra fast cash, take all of your decorations, and put them so that they surround a blank space, giving it gigantic bonuses. Then, when a building is ready to be collected from, move it over there and collect from it, so that you get a gigantic bonus from the building. Then, once you have collected from it, move it back and do the same with other buildings. You can get bonuses of over 50% this way, which gives you a ton of extra coins.
