God is relational. Two of the greatest commandments are focused on this belief (Matt 22:36-40). Research shows that approximately 44% of the writings in the New Testament are about how we get along with one another. The Bible instructs us to love thy neighbor, honor thy mother and thy father, not to provoke our children to wrath, render unto Caesar what is his, laborers obey your employers, husbands love your wives as Christ loves the church, love one another with brotherly affection, and most of all love the Lord thy God with all your heart. These are all forms of relationship. The birth of Jesus Christ and the presence of the Holy Spirit further emphasized its importance through the act of the crucifixion. Jesus taught and stressed the importance of reconciliation. Then He himself reconciled us with the Father. This "must" be the foundation of all relationships. This is the key.
