The Airport Consultants Council/American Association of Airport Executives Airport Planning, Design & Construction Symposium has been the world’s premier technical program of its kind. This unique technical event highlights the latest tools, methods, concepts and new ideas in airport development and operations.
The symposium includes sessions for new and seasoned airport development professionals alike. Workshops range from covering “the basics” to highly technical sessions. Five concurrent technical workshops are scheduled under the following five tracks:
• Terminals and Landside
• Engineering and Airside
• Project Management & Construction Management
Information technology will be a theme woven into the individual tracks. Combined “super tracks” will feature insights on airport procurement and design fees, and sustainable master plans. Plenary sessions will provide the latest perspectives from airports and the airlines that will benefit airport staff and consultants alike, particularly in this time of uncertainty in the aviation industry.
