In Islam, Ahadith or Hadith are prophetic traditions of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) to whom the Quran and the Deen was revealed. Ahadith Qudsi differ in that Muslims believe that they are not the words of Muhammad (pbuh) but of Allah. The difference between this and the Quranic text being the wording and the meaning are from Allah which has come via the clear revelation. As for the hadith qudsi, the wording is from the Messenger (saw), and the meaning is from Allah. The Qur'an's wording is a miracle, revealed to the Prophet (pbuh).
