The story of our retail grocery store started back in December 2007 when a few industrious individuals had the vision for a good value supermarket grocer to meet the discerning appetite of Klang Valley residents for quality household food products and goods for their everyday needs.

From our first store at Jaya 33 in Petaling Jaya, we are the only Malaysian-based supermarket with the widest range of imported products on shelf, fresh produce and groceries - serving local communities with our four outlets.

Our flagship outlet at Empire Subang introduced Malaysians to the "Grocerant" experience - fresh from the store, freshly cooked and served. Here's our customers enjoy dining in the store by picking meats right off the shelves and straight to our chefs who then prepare their choice of dishes accompanied with condiments and sides.

Spurred by overseas graduates returning to Malaysia to the shirking globe thanks to communications and easy air travels, we continue to strive to reward Malaysians with a comfortable and personalised shopping experience.

At Jaya Grocer, we believe in providing fresh, quality produce and strive to meet this everyday. To achieve this, we have a strong working relationship with our suppliers who provide the freshest possible produce.

To meet the growing demand for organic produce, Jaya Grocer has expanded it's range of organic vegetables. Other than local seasonal fruits and vegetables, we also bring in exotic fruits such as apricots, blueberries, strawberries and raspberries. Our shelves are stocked with quality meats such as air-flown beef from Australia and seafood such as fish brought in daily from Kuala Selangor.

Bringing to the Klang Valley a wide range of quality produce under one roof, Jaya Grocer carries fresh, seasonal food products from as far as Europe and Australia. We also have a range of organic, gluten-free food for the health conscious consumer.

Culinary Grocerant

As we strive to give our shoppers a unique Jaya Grocer experience, we have setup Malaysia's first culinary 'grocerant' - combination of grocery store and restaurant - at our flagship store in Empire Subang .

Here, our customers get to pick up a choice of meats and seafoods just off the shelf and bring over to our grocerant counter. Our chefs, trained in Italian and Japanese cuisine will then prepare the meal with condiments and sides to suit your palate. All this done within the store space.

Freshly cooked from within the store, the Jaya Grocer grocerant food experience is to be shared with family and friends.
